[12 June 2013] DAY 1 SINGAPORE–ROME (Meals on Board)

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Rome.

[13 June 2013] DAY 2 ROME–POMPEII–NAPLES (Meals on Board/Dinner)

Upon arrival, depart Rome for Pompeii. Enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological sites, and see how this Roman city was both destroyed and preserved following the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD. See a patrician home, public baths and shops that give a striking picture of what day-to-day life was like in Rome at its apex of power. Proceed to Naples for your overnight stay.

[14 June 2013] DAY 3 NAPLES-CAPRI–SORRENTO-NAPLES (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

This morning, head to the charming resort of Sorrento. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking orientation tour starting from the busy Piazza Tasso. Admire the art of “Intarsio” wood in lay which is renowned in this region. Next, board the hydrofoil to the island of Capri, once known as Island of Sin. Today, it is a desirable place to visit and a romantic spot for honeymooners. From Marina Grande, ascend Capri Town, where most of the shops and restaurants are found. Return to Naples in the afternoon and tour the historic centre to admire the remarkable Triumphal Arch of the New Castle, San Carlo Theatre, the Royal Palace, Umberto I Galleria, and the semicircular Piazza del.

[15 June 2013] DAY 4 NAPLES–VATICAN CITY-ROME (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

This morning, proceed to Rome. Take a morning trip to Vatican City and visit St Peter's Basilica, the most famous church in the Christian world. Next, visit the Colosseum, originally known as Flavian Amphitheatre, where ancient gladiators fought for the public’s entertainment. In the afternoon, make a wish at the beautiful Trevi Fountain before visiting Spanish Steps. Thereafter, shop along Via Condotti, which is one of Rome’s most elegant shopping streets.

[16 June 2013] DAY 5 ROME–ASSISI–PERUGIA (Breakfast/Dinner)

Enjoy a scenic drive to the famous walled city of Assisi, a well-preserved medieval town with an air of mystical serenity and Italy’s 2nd - most popular pilgrimage destination after the Vatican. Visit St Francis Basilica, which holds the crypt of the saint, covered with vivid frescoes by Giotto that depicts his life. After the visit, take a stroll down the narrow but picturesque streets to the Piazza del Comune, the old town centre. Then, drive on to the capital of Umbria,Perugia, for an overnight stay. 

[17 June 2013] DAY 6 PERUGIA–PISA-FLORENCE (Breakfast/Tuscan Dinner) 

This morning, travel to Pisa to admire the world-renowned Leaning Tower at Campodei Miracoli, also known as Field of Miracles. Then, continue to Florence. Tonight, enjoy a lovely Tuscan dinner.

Change to Itinerary: 
Pisa postponed to 18 June.
Instead, went to Siena followed by Factory outlet.

[18 June 2013] DAY 7 FLORENCE (Breakfast/Dinner) 

This morning, enjoy a leisurely stroll to the Duomo. See the Doors of Paradise at St John’s Baptistry, and Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Flore with its pink, white and green marble façade, along with Brunelleschi’s famous dome dominating the skyline of Florence. Proceed to Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio bridge, one of the city’s most famous landmarks.

[19 June 2013] DAY 8 FLORENCE–VENICE (Breakfast/Dinner) 

Journey along the Italian Alps to Venice and take a motor launch to St Mark’s Square. Walk around St Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs and St Mark’s Campanile, a replica of the original watch tower that collapsed in 1902. Visit a Venetian glass factory and be fascinated by a master glassblower’s demonstration. If time and weather permit, do not miss a gondola ride at your own expense.

[20 June 2013] DAY 9 VENICE–MILAN (Breakfast) 

This morning, head to Milan, fashion capital of Italy. Visit the Duomo and the glass and steel Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the first building in Italy to be lit by electricity. In the afternoon, explore the city at your own leisure.

[21 June 2013] DAY 10 MILAN–SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals on Board) 

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
